Brazo Mantecado – one of the specialty and best-selling desserts at Rica’s Cafe.
The presentation itself was enough to make you feel that you are in for a treat. The first thing I said after going through each layer was that this dessert was overrated. However, as I devoured and smothered myself with the combination of each layer, I took back what I said. It was definitely a good frozen Brazo de Mercedes from Rica’s Cafe. I left with a winning smile on my face and an added bulge to my belly

Mud Pie Crepe – This is another best-selling dessert at Rica’s Cafe. It is a rolled-up crepe with cookies and cream filling served with vanilla ice cream and garnished with chocolate (fudge?). This is just OK for me, nothing special.

Other stuff on their menu:

Rica’s used to be at Grand Convention but is now in Banilad, near the Spa at Cebu.

Hi,im confused between Rica’s and #10 Dove St..which do u guys recommend?
December 15th, 2009 at 10:25 am
Hi Coleen. I haven’t been to Rica’s yet so I may not be the best person to reply to this (yooohooo Fedge). Rica’s seems a lot more expensive than Dove Street but has a more accessible location. Dove Street for me has really good food considering the price.

Hi Shel..wanted to go to 10 Dove St but wasn’t sure what time they open..So my boyfriend and I decided to go to Rica’s..We’ll try 10 Dove St. soon..:) thanks!
