Chocolates

Cebu Restaurants Confessions of a Chocoholic - Toblerone Dark Chocolate

Hi, I’m Shel, and I’m a chocoholic.

I could eat chocolate every day if I could afford it, that is, if I can afford the clothes to fit my then expanded girth.

So how did I realize I’m a chocoholic? Well, I was never in denial of it in the first place. Whether I’m sad or happy, it’s chocolate that I want to eat and not just any chocolate but dark chocolate, the darker the better. I eat milk chocolate and even white chocolate (which by the way is not really chocolate - quick! Use the powers of Google to check if I’m lying!), but it’s dark chocolate that my taste buds truly crave.

So for my first session, let me encourage you to try Toblerone Dark Chocolate.

This particular Swiss dark chocolate has honey and almond nougat.

Moral of the day: Like is not like a box of chocolate. You would know what you’re gonna get if you take time to read the box.

Ingredients - cocoa, sugar, milk fat, honey, almonds, cocoa butter, emulsifier, egg white

Images evoked upon ingestion - sunny skies, a soft pillow, and more chocolates

Energy - 500 kcal per 100 grams

Number of minutes at the treadmill to lose those kilocalories - I wouldn’t know!

Price - around Php 60 (50 grams) at Save More Parkmall

I suppose dark chocolate is an acquired taste. If you haven’t tried dark chocolate, then you don’t know how sweet bitter can be!

As I say Sayonara, let me share this life-changing signage to you my friends.
