Wang Shan Lo Chinese Restaurant at Club Ultima

Chinese Restaurant in Cebu - Wang Shan Lo - Club Ultima, Philippines Food, Philippines Restaurant

So we are kinda going serious with our photography hobby and got ourselves an unofficial gig; a pre-nup for a friend who got married last October 2008.  Yes guys, this post is so long overdue!

After the photo shoot, which by the way we were not so proud of since we were so amateur then and even now, we got ourselves invited for dinner with the couple at Wang Shan Lo Chinese Restaurant at Club Ultima.

I was kinda excited because it was my first time to go up the Club Ultima.  The elevator ride freaked me out a bit because it went up very fast, and we were in a see-through capsule elevator.  Although the way up was scary, I just conditioned myself about the bountiful eat-all-you-can (Php 450) dinner we will be having.

Out of nowhere, I just thought that I will have an eat-all-you-can dinner eaten systematically.  For the first round I started with the veggies and seafood, then second round was the all-meat special, then third round for desserts.

Overall it was an OK dinner.  I was JUST satisfied with it.  There was nothing bad I can say about it, but unfortunately there isn’t something extraordinary to rave like crazy about it either.

This Chinese restaurant in Cebu, Wang Shan Lo, is a good venue for those who like authentic Chinese food.   I couldn’t help but compare the meal with Grand Majestic’s Lunch buffet at a cheaper price which had my favorite Lemon Chicken (considering I am very picky with chicken dishes) and the heart-attack-inducing Peking Duck with the option to have it in a pancake wrap.  I am always so fond of making that wrap.  Unfortunately, the pancake wrap was not present at Wang Shan Lo but still the Peking duck is something to get your mouths to try.

Oh I remember! The good thing about Wang Shan Lo is that after the full dinner we got to see Cebu City at night which is kinda nice.  It makes you wanna scream, “It feels so good to be alive!
