May we all have a prosperous and serene 2009!
Hi Guys! 2008 was one crazy roller-coaster ride for me.
Talk about my ride got towed, caught up with the traffic TEAM, lost a friend, colleagues left, and got heartbroken twice, ouch!
But with that came a fair share of happy times too: regular outings with friends, attended weddings, got a decent salary raise, went to Japan, and of course the birth of DiningCebu.com.
Despite all of that, I’m still here taking all the punches that life brings and throwing back some soft uppercuts of my own. Come 2009, I hope that it will be another colorful and fruitful year for all of us.
Here’s to good health, more wealth, solid friendships, blossoming spiritual and love lives, successful careers, and of course a voracious appetite ahead of us! – Fedge
Here’s to more dining pleasures in 2009…
Happy New Year you guys!
May we all not just remember to feed our mouths and fill our stomach but to also feed our souls and take care of each other’s hearts!
– Berg
May 2009 bring us more blessings!
Continue to support DiningCebu.com not only in the coming year but also in the years to come. God bless!

The guys have all been pretty decent with their greetings, and I’m left to give the lame message. I don’t even have a photo near a Christmas tree for crying out loud. What I have is a joke of a picture, and not even a funny one at that.
Anyways …
In the great words of John Cage (my favorite character in Ally McBeal), “if you think back and replay your year, if it doesn’t bring you tears, either of joy or sadness, consider the year wasted.” I’m sure our 2008 was not a waste, and I’m equally sure that our 2009 will not be wasted as well.
Let’s all look forward to the year of the ox, which is said to be a symbol of prosperity through fortitude and hard work.
Happy New Year! And more good eats for us all! – Shel
