Hi guys! It is the middle of March and we’re here not to remind you about the Fire Prevention Month nor talk about summer vacation plans because it’s too early for that that will be on another post. Rather, we just want to say CONGRATULATIONS to the March 2009 Graduates!
We are not about to make long speeches that starts or ends with “This is not the end, but only the beginning!” Let’s save that for the deans and principals of the world (no offense meant). We are more concerned on what happens after the graduation ceremony. Yes, you guessed it right guys! It’s PAKAL time after GRADUATION time!
By popular demand of one subscriber, we bring you the much-awaited and highly coveted list of Cebu restaurants to visit after graduation.
This list is quite the opposite from that of our Valentine’s Day recommendation. Most of the Cebu restaurants we are pimping are mall-based because of the convenient parking space especially when you come in large groups.
After eating, diretso rasad pagsuroy-suroy og ang pinaka-importante sayon ra pagpadungog-dungog ni ermatz ug erpatz to buy this and that kay graduate gud! Syaro naman sad noh?!
Budget to Mid-range
Filipino Food
- Golden Cowrie – SM Cebu
- Chikaan – Lahug or SM Cebu
- AA Barbeque & Grill – Lahug or A.S. Fortuna
- Calda Pizza – Lahug
- Tsiboom Native Restaurant – Parkmall
Chinese Food
- Manila Foodshoppe – Parkmall
- Family Choice – Lahug or Gaisano Country Mall

Filipino Cuisine
- Café Laguna – Terraces Ayala Cebu
- Pino Filipino Restaurant - Lahug
American Cuisine

Greek Cuisine
- Cyma Estatiorio – Terraces Ayala Cebu
Asian Cuisine
- Siam – Terraces Ayala Cebu
- Lemon Grass – Terraces Ayala Cebu
- Spice Fusion – Banilad Town Center or SM Cebu
Most of the Cebu restaurants listed are Filipino or Chinese restaurants because they are more affordable and have adequate serving sizes. Basta graduation, the whole family man gud usually mu-eat out so Filipino or Chinese food is the easiest choice para dili libog order for the kids as well as for the Lolos and Lolas.
Calda’s huge and inexpensive pizzas is a good treat for the younger generations while TGI FRiDAYS and Bigby’s lively and fun atmosphere is a good choice. I wonder if they also sing for you and give a special cake if they know you’re a graduate just like what they do if it’s your birthday hehehe. [Unsa man ilang kantahun, Fedge? Farewell to you my friends? tsk tsk --- Shel]
We’ve included restaurants in Cebu that serve Greek food like Cyma or Asian Fusion cuisines like Spice Fusion and Thai-Vietnamese restaurant Lemon Grass as an alternative choice for those who want to stay away from the usual Filipino and Chinese food.
So there you have it! Happy eating and remember: “This is not the end, but only the beginning!” Hehehe…

Hi Mike, I think you have to talk to the manager regarding discounts. We don’t know anyone in Pino. This blog is a personal one, we have no connections to most establishments here in Cebu.
