Hi Fedge you pictures are great.
Since you posted a pic of Dessert Factory’s banana split I thought I’d say something about it. I’m a frequent diner of Dessert Factory and I love a lot of the food they serve. However, the banana split isn’t one of them. The ice cream used seems to be that of Selecta’s 3 in 1 + 1 variety and I find it lacking in flavor, mediocre, and almost bland. On a positive note I love their cakes and meals.
Ciao!

Hi Sid Vicious,
Jon visited Dessert Factory just recently to ask if the ice cream used was really that of Selecta’s 3-in-1 Plus 1 (Happy Kaarawan? hehe) and their staff told him that it’s not that one but the regular classic Selecta variant.
I think this 3-in-1 +1 (happy kaarawan hehehe i love singing that) is of low quality and would melt easily. So I believe that it’s not the 3-in-1 +1 happy kaarawan type…

Hi guys, kalingaw aning inyong 3-in-1 + 1 na topic oi hehe. Try Selecta Gold, pricey lang nuon (at least to me) but lami jud hehe. My favorite would have to the Hazelnut one. Strawberry is OK too, but the one with Chocolate Truffles is just too sweet but makakaon jud kag chunks of the truffles hehe.

wow! i hate to burst your bubble guys but I didn’t really like the food they served when me and my family dined there. they cakes were OK, though.the meals??…uhm.. they were bland and there was nothing spacial about them. even the servings weren’t at par to their pricing. I mean I know it’s fancy place but (hello!!) we all want to get our money’s worth, right?

I’m just curious which bubble it is you’re referring to since we weren’t exactly raving about it in this thread. Foodwise I like the food here. Compared to fastfood prices, yes it is pricey, but I’ve tried their chicken masala and beef adobado and I do find these dishes tasty without being too salty. Enough said I guess we all have our personal preferences when it comes to the food we are served.
