I like pizzas with thin crust, that’s why I like to go to either JCA or Handuraw in Lahug. But if there is one thing that keeps me coming back for more in Handuraw, it wouldn’t be their pizzas but their potato mojos!

Potato Mojos
At Php 50, Handuraw’s potato mojo is a bargain. If you like potatoes, then you’re definitely missing something if you haven’t tried these mojos at Handuraw. If there is something I highly recommend in Handuraw, it would be this and the Php 50 (or was it Php 60) ice cream cake hehe.
Chili Chips
Julie ordered this one, and I totally agree that this is a good appetizer. I like spicy food, and this one is not too spicy, which is still good. The chips seem home-made to me. I would recommend this with the mojos.

Carbonara
Handuraw’s carbonara is a great treat. The sauce is definitely tasty and just enough not to make you feel like you’re eating sauce with pasta. I didn’t have enough of it though because this was Eyean’s meal hehe.

Handuraw Special - a best-selling thin crust pizza loaded with pepperoni, Italian sausage, ham, bacon, mushroom, olives, onions, green bell peppers, fresh tomatoes, and mozzarella cheese on a base of home-made tomato sauce

I like the Handuraw Special even if I don’t like olives. Fedge will definitely like this because it has a lot of meat. If you want your pizza to be complicated, that is … to have as many ingredients as possible, then order Handuraw Special.
Prices as of May 2009

very loaded…gotta say we definately have overloaded pizzas here than the stuff abroad. Pizza for me should be at best only have 3 – 4 toppings cheese included.. Pizza for me should be a marraige between the dough and toppings.. people just load their pizza to make up. Anyhoo, seems like a good place with other good stuff as well. This is just my opinion though.

@foodbin – You should try their stuff, they have delish food at relatively low prices. Their mojos are really really good. I can’t stop raving about it gyud hehe.
@LS – Yeah, I agree with you. Some of the pizzas served locally are just over the top in the number of ingredients, and the flavors are compromised. But maybe because these are what most of the locals like as well.

Handuraw Pizza is one of the things I miss most in Cebu. And you are definitely right about the mojos! I’m just curious though…is Kahayag still open? *sigh…missing Cebu*
